Workshop Intentions:

  • Awaken and deepen each participant’s connection with the element of WATER.
    • Cultivate and inspire the creation of Altar Art, bringing it to life through the aesthetic journey of song.
  • Impart knowledge of vocal technique for the art of singing – covering aspects such as breath control, resonance, muscle engagement, relaxation, vocal projection, and articulation.
  • Foster a poetic language that enhances the individual and collective creative endeavor of an Ode to Water.
  • Tools for composition will be provided: The art of rhymes, syllabic structure, stylistic elements, and the exploration of Latin American motifs and their rhythmic and melodic potential.
